How the sessions are structured
In the first instance, all clients are asked to complete a questionnaire which will provide them with a 35 page report highlighting the individual’s own behaviours and attitudes. This means that the coach can help the client recognise and enhance their skills in all aspects of their life. All sessions are structured in such a way that the individual wil have reviewed the action taken since the last contact, identified new opportunities, have planned a specific outcome for each call and agreed outcomes/homework for the following week.
There is a pre-arranged time that you call - every fortnight or week - when you speak for an allotted time to set goals for the week. You can also have access via email/fax, and possibly extra short calls, depending on the programme chosen. Your coach trains, guides and motivates you so that you excel in all that you do. At the end of every session you will have set goals to achieve.
Alternatively you can arrange face to face meetings with your coach which normally run for two to three hours. Meetings are usually more appropriate when there are specific skills which require development, such as personal presentation skills. Whatever your arrangement, you will normally work with your coach for six to thirty-six sessions (on average). Some people stay for two years or more (96 sessions), depending on the individual and the results they want to achieve.
